Proofing Products
Flex offers several proofing products for a variety of needs. Each proof goes through stringent quality measures to ensure accuracy.
Production Proofs
Production proofs are modified design files adjusted to manufacturer and printer specifications. Proofs can be digital PDFs or hard copy proofs on paper.
Contract Proofs
Contract proofs are color accurate and synchronized with a printing press using ICC profiles. These are used press side as a color target.
Separated PDFs
Separated PDFs are used to inspect color separations, dimensions, screen values and much more.
Stepped PDFs
Stepped PDFs are color-separated, trapped, and stepped with press marks. These are used as a final inspection proofs reflecting exactly what will appear on the printing plates.
Digital Color Keys
Digital color keys are individual color overlays representing each separation, mounted on paperboard or film.
